Interview with Sean McCarron and his Animated Short Film CORVINE

Sean McCarron is an animator, storyboard artist and now filmmaker with over twenty years of industry experience. He has worked on numerous television and feature film productions in Europe and North America, including roles at Oscar-nominated Irish studio Cartoon Saloon and Oscar-winning Norwegian studio Mikrofilm.

The animated short film, CORVINE, is Sean’s first and created by his company, McCarron Productions, based in Vancouver, BC.

Sean McCarron’s beautiful tale CORVINE shares a story of a boy who loves nature, especially crows. As an eccentric boy he has trouble fitting in at school due to his obsession with the crows.

Screened at numerous prestigious international film festivals and capturing many awards in the process, CORVINE will receive its New York premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival.
