How to Pick a Flashlight for Personal Safety

A flashlight is one of the most important personal safety tools that you can have on you at all times, it is an effective way to visually disarm someone in a low-light, defensive situation and turn the tables to your advantage.

There are four things to consider when we're trying to select a flashlight we want to carry:

1. Size - is the size compatible with your wardrobe/lifestyle.
2. How bright is it? Can the brightness be used defensively?
3. How is it charged? Does that work with your routine/lifestyle?
4. Activation - how it turns on and off. When you grab it in a hurry, will you be able to quickly and easily turn it on?
