Rep. Mike Gallagher says he won't run for Senate

Wisconsin Representative Mike Gallagher says he will not be running for the Senate. Instead, the Republican is seeking re-election to his current position. The announcement Friday could be a blow to national GOP leaders who had wanted him to challenge Senator Tammy Baldwin.

Gallagher says he has a bipartisan opportunity in the House that he doesn't want to give up. Because Wisconsin is a purple state the National Republican Senatorial Committee says it still hopes to flip Baldwin's seat.
