This is not a frame from a feature film, it is a chronicle now attributed to 1890.

Is it really a giant?

This two-and-a-half minute video appeared on the Web in 2007.

It appears to show a man of gigantic stature walking in a convoy at some celebration in Japan.

You can see footage of him lying down at what is probably a tea ceremony and appears to have been received at the imperial palace.

I remembered how the bones of a cat were passed off as the remains of Joan of Arc.

Maybe when looking at gigantopithecus bones in museums we don't even know that we are looking at the bones of America's last giants?

Finding in Texas.
Paleontologists Victor Pacheco and Martin Fried examined a cave where they found the remains of a creature about 3.5 meters tall and weighing about 300 kg with only one eye socket in its skull. The bones are about 10,000 years old.
