Watching Flubber But Without VFX

Despite doing fairly well at the box office, Flubber was heavily criticized for being "unimaginative", "uninspired", and "a totally baffling waste of talented performers".
However, leaving the story aside, Flubber did make us empathize with a flying yellow robot, laugh at some green goo that was 100% CGI, and believe that Robin Williams really held it in his hand, and the fact that that goes completely unnoticed is what truly is "totally baffling" and well worth exploring.
