Julian Assange has lost his latest attempt to stop extradition to the United States to face espionage charges. Tuesday, a high court in London refused Assange's appeal because it did not have a "properly arguable point". Assange's wife, however, posted on social media saying her husband's legal team will appeal again.
Last year, the United Kingdom's Home Secretary approved extraditing Assange to the United States. He faces 18 criminal charges after Wiki-leaks, the company he founded, published thousands of classified documents. Assange has been in a London prison since he was arrested at the Ecuadorian embassy in 2019.
