Watch: Souper Troopers open new ‘Humanity Hub’ in Woodstock

South Africa - Cape Town - 7 June 2023 - Cape Town Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis joined the Souper Troopers, who have been Trooping for 9 years on Thursday. From the boot of a car to having their own service center, The Humanity Hub, and all this, while always prioritizing Dignity, Love, and Respect. Wednesday evening was the official opening of Souper Troopers’ new ‘Humanity Hub’ in Woodstock. Souper Troopers is one of the NGOs working with the homeless in Cape Town - helping people off of the streets and rebuilding lives. 35 of their Troopers are supported by the City’s job creation program for homeless people who are accessing help to get off the streets.
