Jo Jorgensen is a long-time advocate for individual freedom, free markets, and peace. She has been involved in the Libertarian Party since 1983 and has run for various offices at the local, state, and national level. She is also a senior lecturer in psychology at Clemson University and the author of a forthcoming book on libertarian leadership.
