Saria, who was the wife of Abraham,

God's angel met Sariah in the desert and asked Hagar.

Where did Hagar, the maidservant of Saria, come from and where is she going?

Hagar answered. I ran away from my mistress.

Then the angel said, return to him and remain in his possession.

The angel added, "I will greatly increase your offspring and they will be numerous."

You will have a son and you will name him Ishmael, because God has heard your sorrow, he will be like a wild zebra.

His hand will be against everyone, and everyone's hand will be against him.

He will live separately from his brothers.

Abraham gave birth to Hagar's son and named him Ishmael.
