The day started off frustrating and ended off with a variety of fish! Edible fishing from the beach

The day started off very frustrating as I lost a good number of fish! the bites came but the J hooks did not do their work and as soon as I changed over to circle hooks I started to land every fish that took my bait! Our plan for the day was to fish the beach in search of a variety of species like Glajoen, baardman, kob and White steenbras. using light tackle in the surf zone for these fish can be really fun and one never exactly knows what specie is going to eat your bait next!
