GM’s electric vehicles will gain access to Tesla’s vast charging network
General Motors and Tesla have revealed a new agreement, stating that General Motors’ electric vehicles (EVs) will have access to a significant portion of Tesla’s expansive charging network from early next year.
This development follows the news that Ford is also adopting Tesla’s connector and integrating its EVs with around 12,000 of Tesla’s approximately 17,000 charging stations.
Both General Motors and Ford, major players in the Detroit automotive industry, are actively working to establish Tesla’s connector as the industry standard, the Associated Press reports.
