What is Marxism, and is Wokeness Marxist?

Is Wokeness a form of Marxism? We look at Marxism and its derivatives, then do some basic comparisons to woke ideologies to see if they line up. Our motivation for doing this right now is that there are conservatives pushing for a different explanation for wokeness. In the future, we will be covering their arguments.
