Wind Farm's are destroying the environment, not saving it.

I recently visited the site of the proposed Chalumbin Wind Farm on the Atherton Tablelands.

As you can see, the wind farm will be placed near pristine rainforests and bird habitats that abut World Heritage sites.

As a result much of the biodiversity will be threatened and destroyed to make way for these wind farms.

The hypocrisy when it comes to renewables is breathtaking. Farmers in the Great Barrier Reef catchment are heavily fined if there is any runoff from their properties, yet wind farms will cause enormous erosion to the mountain ranges not to mention the leeching of toxic chemicals in the soil that will take place when they are buried at the end of their life.
