Traffic Cops... Volvo V70 T5, 850 T5 and the Importance of Hard Shoulders

I've posted this video for a couple of reasons…

For my recent videos on Volvo 850 Police Cars, I'd been going back to the TV series 'traffic cops', which featured PC Woodward who I interviewed recently.

As part of my research, I looked through quite a lot of Traffic Cops footage trying to find Volvo 850s, and came across this clip, from Series 4, aired in 2006.

It's quite a harrowing watch, but for this channel, I've clipped out quite a lot, but what we have is a Police Volvo V70 T5 reprimanding the driver of an 850 T5 for illegally using a motorway hard shoulder.

So we have two very Geoff cars to look at, whilst also highlighting the importance of what hard shoulders are for.. which is fitting considering my recent videos on Smart Motorways.
