Could Our Earth Be Flat?

We have always found a flat earth theory to sound more logical, for the following 2 reasons;

1. If you had to fly from Australia to America, wouldn't it make more sense to turn right? We think the distance would be much shorter than going left all the way across Asia and Europe...

2. It would also explain why there is only 1 world map, because you would expect America to use a world map where not Europe is the center, but America (after all, people always want to be approached from their own perspective)... with on the left of the map Australia.
