Genetically Engineered Salad Greens Are Entering the Food Supply — and They Won’t Be Labeled

Why won’t they be labeled? Because regulators don’t consider gene-edited foods to be genetically modified organisms. “So, you’re not going to have a clue,” lamented #CHDTV host Polly Tommey.

Pairwise, an agricultural biotechnology company, is using CRISPR technology to genetically edit salad greens.

And if you see things that are labeled “Conscious Greens Purple Power Baby Greens,” then that is CRISPR-edited foods.
