Florida's Controversial Shooting Case: Truth vs Media Narratives

Last Friday a black woman, Ajike Owens, was shot and killed by a white woman, Susan Lorincz, in Ocala FL, as Owens angrily approached Lorincz' front door over a years-long simmering acrimonious relationship. After several days of investigation Lorincz has been charged with manslaughter and other criminal offenses.

I've not yet seen a sufficiently comprehensive set of facts that would allow a reasonable sense of whether this shooting was lawful self-defense or manslaughter.

What I have seen, however, is the usual racial grievance industrial complex--led by the ubiquotous racial arsonist Attorney Benjamin Crump--spin up a comprehensive propaganda campaign about this unfortunate event. Of course, Crump does not work alone--the mainstream media and a plethora of social media accounts have jumped on board to dominate the narrative of this shooting.

Particularly offensive to my eye is that once again Crump, and the media, and the social media lackeys are comprehensively lying about the relevant laws in this case--and if the public is misinformed about the relevant law, they can certainly not understand what the relevant legal questions are, and by extension can never arrive at the correct legal answer.
