🎞 PLOT
Angel is an American television series that is a spinoff of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
It aired on The WB for five seasons and 110 episodes from October 5, 1999, to May 19, 2004.
The story follows Angel, a vampire whose human soul was restored to him by a Romani curse as a punishment for murdering one of their own. Angel's restored soul torments him with shame and regret after more than a century of murder and torture of innocents. Angel relocates to Los Angeles, California, as it becomes evident that his hopeless love with Buffy, the vampire slayer, cannot be salvaged. Throughout the duration of the show, he works as a private investigator in Los Angeles.
