The Blackstone 1650 Tabletop Grill is the perfect size for my needs, and I love that I can use a 25lb LP gas tank with it. One lb small tanks just dont last long enough for my purposes.

This is a fantastic unit at a great price! I will note that the base isnt the sturdiest, but it still gets the job done. The main cooking surface, on the other hand, is incredibly durable.
However, beware that it gets very hot, so make sure to have a water bottle nearby when youre cooking. Cooking on the Blackstone 1650 can take some getting used to, as you may find yourself having to cool the grill down in order to keep from burning your food.
But, as with any cooking apparatus, once you get used to it, youll be able to find spots that are much hotter than others, allowing you to be more versatile while you cook.
So far, I have used this griddle to cook steaks, crab cakes, chicken, pork chops, shish kabobs, and vegetables, and everything has turned out great. I have found that New York strips are the best cut to use on this griddle.
One thing I love about the Blackstone 1650 is that the griddle seals in all of the juices, giving everything a delicious and juicy flavor. I was finally able to duplicate the Huddle House flavor on my Lodge stovetop griddle after seasoning it properly.
Speaking of seasoning, I will note that cooking with this griddle right out of the box is not recommended. But thankfully, seasoning it only takes about 10 minutes, so its a quick and easy process.
Overall, I am pleased with my purchase of the Blackstone 1650 Tabletop Grill. Its a great size, easy to use, and produces delicious food.
