Coho salmon are some of the most aggressive fish when they start to make their journey back to the spawning grounds. Coho will chase down a spinner, destroy a plug, or engulf some salmon eggs.

New to the mainstream fishing scene in the last couple years is Twitching Jigs for Coho. This technique is similar to bass fishing but for salmon! Essentially you are casting a heavy rabbit or marabou jig letting it sink and retrieving it with a decent speed while letting it fall and jigging it every quarter crank on the reel or so.

In this video we are demonstrating the basics to get you started on this super fun technique!
