The Best Way To Rig a Bottom Walker for Walleye Fishing

The Bottom Walker Rig works amazing for trolling walleye. This technique works amazing in the midwest states like Minnesota, Detroit River in Michigan, North Dakota, Ohio and Wisconsin. Washington and Oregon anglers love using the bottom-walker because it flat out works in the Columbia River.

In this tutorial video, TJ Hester of Hester's Sportfishing shows how to rig the bottom-walker trolling system properly. He prefers to use longer rods in the Columbia to spread out his baits and handle heavier weight systems. This can also be accomplished in other ways.
