Giant 20 lb chrome steelhead bucks are seen across the internet every winter, but seeing a hen of this caliber in the pacific northwest is truly amazing! This fish is exactly why we spend 100's of days driving all over the PNW, hiking miles, freezing our butts off, crossing rivers, rowing days and days, going with little sleep, constantly trying to hone in our game, dreaming that we will get to battle a monster steelhead of that caliber!! We're privileged to be able to say we landed and released this beautiful winter steelhead.
