"How To" | Adding Trailers To Your Bass Jigs

Spring time largemouth bass are hungry eaters. These fish are either in the pre spawn or have begun to spawn. When targeting these fish a good bait to choose is jigs.

Jigs can be fished in a multitude of ways from swimming jigs, to slamming them done through weeds beds. One trick to add extra profile, more action, make your jig look more realistic is to add trailers. Plastic trailers like crawdads, lizards, or minnows can really help give that jig your extra enticement needed to land a big momma bass!!
