Downrigger fishing can be very intimidating. It seems like so much goes into actually fishing a downrigger. In all reality though, its fairly simple once you get it down, and it can be deadly! Fishing for Kokanee in particular, downriggers are essential! As the temperatures warm and the kokanee go deeper in the lake, the fish are hard to target without a downrigger.
