Aether is a term that refers to two different entities.

The first is a book by Marcia Ramalho, which tells the story of a fallen advanced civilization called Tartaria.

The second is an Aether Portal in Minecraft, which is a structure made from glowstone and activated by igniting with a water bucket.

The purpose of the Aether Portal is to establish a link between the New World and the Aether.

The Aether Portal requires at least 10 glowstone blocks, stacked five blocks tall and four blocks wide, and can be activated with a water bucket.

In fact, Aether is the element or matter that connects everything electromagnetically.

Aether is the set of all Universe 'spheres'.
Atmosphere, Troposphere, Stratosphere, Mesosphere, Ionosphere, Thermosphere, Exosphere, Plasmasphere.

They all are Aether.

Aether is also the four elements - earth, water, air, fire.
