Pence. Christie. Burgum? Why Are They Running for 2024?

For most Americans, the GOP field of presidential candidates will come down to President Trump or Gov. Ron DeSantis. For large swaths of the political right, everyone else running in 2024 is looking to be VP, or get a cabinet position.

But even with Trump/DeSantis looming, contenders are still joining the race. Most recently, former VP Mike Pence, former NJ Governor Chris Christie and current North Dakota Governor David Burgum.

Wait. Who?

Why are they running? Well, it's complicated....but not really.
