Trophy TROUT Fishing - Chasing The RECORD!

Part 3 of our lake trout fishing series starts now! Today we're back on lake #1 and the trout fishing is absolutely incredible! It was non stop action from the time we got to the lake, til the we had to leave. Today is only a half day because we gotta make the long drive back home in time to upload Sundays Addicted Life episode. Buckle up for this one Addicts because its a very exciting episode!! We're so excited to finally bring you this 3 part series called The Hunt. We traveled to Central Oregon in search of record lake trout on some of the most beautiful lakes in the world! Oregon’s state record for lake trout is 40.5 pounds, caught in Central Oregon at Odell Lake in the 1980s.

Mackinaw Lake Trout prefer deep cold lakes with lots of food to make them big and fat. A lot of these lakes in Washington and Oregon have large populations of Kokanee, a perfect food source for these trout. Only a few Oregon lakes have been planted with these huge trout and were back on one of these lakes today to fish for the chance at a record.
