See v. 18: "THE WRATH OF GOD" - that is His righteous and holy judgment. It's His revelation of His divine truth, love, and power confornting those who reject Him. (Source Matthew 25:41) “Then He will also say to those on the left hand,‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: the "FIRE" was "PREPARED FOR THE DEVIL" is illustrating to us that God did not create "HELL" for man; instead, people will choose this torment by their coldness of heart.

"Mankind is evil by choice and not by nature and we are to pray for the entire world as well as for "SINNERS." If we as Christians allow hate to manifest in our hearts we are no better than those who reject Christ by their own free will."

"RIGHTEOUSNESS"- that leads us all the salvation in Christ must "EXCEED" that of the Pharisees, because theirs was outward, works- based righteousness. The righteousness of salvation is the communion of the heat, soul, mind and body in Jesus Christ. (See also - Romans 1:17- and Romans 3:26).

"It's a relationship with Christ that truly matters and has nothing to do with religion."

See vv. 23-24- Peace with other believers is a requirement for worship, and it's through reconciliation and forgiveness, that prepares the faithful to "OFFER" the holy gifts at "THE ALTAR" - ( see also 1 Corinthians 16:20- 1 Peter 5:14).
