Tragically, over 22,600 officers have been killed in the line of duty defending the fragile line between peace and societal chaos. Each year, the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, DC honors those brave men and women who sacrificed all to stand against the evil that would subvert our laws and endanger others.
