Episode 157: WWF King of the Ring 1994

Wrestling was in a weird place in 1994. Having said that, this may have been one of the weakest King of the Ring events of all time, but we did get one of the greatest matches under 4 minutes ever and a glimpse into the future of the WWF as Diesel takes on Bret Hart. The main event of this show was also one straight out of the Over the Hill Club as Jerry "The King" Lawler and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper face off in a comedically bad match that even bordered on "boring" at times. At least we've got some interesting news as Hulk Hogan joins WCW, there are 2 Undertakers, Smoky Mountain Wrestling is struggling to stay afloat, and nutty Herb Abrams is planning on running UWF in a HUGE building in Las Vegas, Nevada!
