Air pollution from Canadian wildfires prompts NYC public schools to cancel outdoor activities

Smoke from over 100 wildfires across the Canadian border led The National Weather Service to issue an Air Quality Alert in New York City Wednesday. The city’s public school system canceled all outdoor activities for students and adults were urged to stay indoors.
