Old Man reacts to The Kinks, " Brainwashed" (1969)

Tom Macdonald wasn't the first artist to record a song named "Brainwashed." The Kinks had them beat by 53 years!

This song was off their 1969 "Arthur" album which was originally intended to be the soundtrack for a TV series that never got made. It doesn't matter now because we ended up with one of the best "concept" albums ever recorded.

BTW The subtitle of the album was, "The Decline and Fall of the British Empire," and it included such great songs as "Shangri-la" "Austrailia" and "Mr. Churchill says."
