Fajr Knowledge

God planted a garden in Eden in the east and placed in it the first man and woman he created.

In the middle of this garden he planted the tree of life and also planted the tree that had knowledge of trees and this tree gave the knowledge of good and evil.

God said to man and woman that you may eat the fruit of the tree, but do not eat the fruit of the tree that gives the knowledge of good and evil.
If you eat the fruit of this tree, you will die that day.

The snake was the most cunning of all the creatures God had created.

The snake said to the woman, has God forbidden you to eat the fruit of this tree?

The woman replied that we can eat the fruit of every tree in the garden, but we cannot eat the fruit of this tree in the middle of the garden.

Because God has told us not to eat the fruit of this tree, if we eat the fruit of this tree, we will die that day.

"You will not die at all," said the snake.

God says that when you eat the fruit of this tree, your eyes will be opened and you will become just like God and know good and evil.

The woman admired the beauty of the tree and the man found it pleasing.

He ate the fruit of the tree and also fed the man.

Then their eyes were opened and they realized that they were naked.

He wrapped the stem of the fig around himself.
