Rally against pension reform in Paris

Live from Paris on Tuesday, June 6, for a large demonstration against Emmanuel Macron’s pension reforms.

Huge protests and strikes have taken place in recent months over the government’s changes to the pension system, including raising the retirement age from 62 to 64.

On April 14, the Constitutional Council partially approved the main parts of the pension reform plan, after which President Macron signed it into law.

Labor unions and opposition parties have led over a dozen nationwide general strikes since January.
