⚓️ Russian Navy ships take part in Multilateral Naval Exercise Komodo 2023 off coast of Indonesia

06 06.23 ◽️ A detachment of the Pacific Fleet ships comprising the corvettes Gromky, Sovershenny and the medium sea tanker Pechenga took part in the Multilateral Naval Exercise Komodo 2023, which takes place from 5 to 8 June off the coast of Indonesia.

🔹The day before Russian ships arrived to the roadstead of the Indonesian port of Makassar on the island of Sulawesi, where a marine parade of the exercise took place. The sailors from more than 30 countries were welcomed by the President of Indonesia.

◽️ The joint activities will focus on the interaction between naval crews from different countries in carrying out humanitarian missions and providing assistance during natural disasters.
