Cat Funny Clothes

Does enyone know how expensive it is to raise a baby cat per month? I am doing some research because i want to get a kitten and i would like the answers of people who have a cat so i may have a better and less complicated answer then google (and to convince my parents 😅). Thank you so much in advance! Ps: is it better to get from it from the shelter or a breeder?
