I've heard rumour having it on its side is bad for the thermal paste - can cause short circuits, but i'm editing this video 2 years later in June 2023 and i've not experienced any issues. It's also sooo much quieter than the PS4 and PS4 Pro that it's overall well worth the upgrade - particularly if you have some PS4 Pro optimised games left to play.
Not sure there's a massive leap from PS4 Pro to PS5, so can't see there being much point in a PS5 Pro nor PS6 - think this maybe my last console as I just find gaming overall a bit borring now. I'm looking to upgrade my 2010 MacPro workstation so may get a fully specced Mac Mini or MacBook Pro and emulate stuff upto and including PS2 / PS3 levels.
