Recent articles from Fortune Magazine and The New York Times seem to know Disney is broken in many places and showing signs of pending failures in many others. Any Man and The Wasp Quantumania, Lightyear, Strange World, and now The Little Mermaid have all been Box Office FLOPS as Disney insists on driving away larger portions of its audience with its social and political messaging. Even Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 is scheduled to barely break even if lucky.

Competitors like Universal Studios have largely avoided the so-called social justice movement and their parks and theatrical releases have performed exceptionally well with even more growth on the horizon while Disney’s market share is in FULL retreat.

It’s high time Disney Stock Holders start asking questions as to whether the Walt Disney Company should keep putting things like ESG over ROI.

Disney’s stubbornness will have to end if they intend to rebuild their empty creative talent pool.
