Intentional sinners don’t know God

1 John 3:6
"No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.

There's a big difference between living in sin, and battling sin. Those who choose to live in sin are not of God. If you are struggling to overcome sin that shows you are one of God's children. This shows you have the Holy Spirit. Because with Him you don't want to sin. Without Him, you continue life in sin and you are ok with it.
