peavey backstage amp 20w cleaning potentiometer project studio cbg cigar box guitars original music hobby
A Peavey 20w Backstage amp from 1981 is in dire need of having its pots cleaned up. Other than the scratchy popcorn noises, it sounds almost excellent as a practice amp; especially for my cigar box guitars. Somehow the amp currently lives at our house is because when our church moved out of our building, everything went to storage or other churches; some items were sold; some went to the dumpster, some were left on the road and were gone soon enough; and the rest was put into the garages and spare rooms of church members.
