Ukraine has finally launched its long anticipated counter offensive in the Zaporizhia region. The main goal is to sever the land bridge between Crimea & the Donbas, both controlled by Russia. Ukraine has made some gains, but at what price ?

Also Leopard tanks have reported been allegedly spotted in the area & several AMX-10 French wheeled tanks have been allegedly destroyed

In other news, The Kakhovka dam in the Kherson region has been destroyed, which is leading to massive flooding & a potential humanitarian disaster in the area

In Marinka, Chechen Akhmat Special Units are on the scene and allegedly making significant gains

Meanwhile in Bakhmut, Ukrainian units have finally broken through & taken a vital settlement.

In the Kupiansk sector, Russia is making incremental gains & trying to push westwards after reports claims that Russian units have crossed the Oskil river.

In Belgorod shelling & constant incursions occur on a daily basis. Civilians have been evacuated from the border region.

Also Kiev & many other cities, towns & settlements continue to bare the brunt of constant back & forth shelling / missile and drone strikes
