AC Milan's Zlatan Ibrahimovic, one of the most celebrated players of the modern era, has retired from professional football at the age of 41. Ibrahimovic bid farewell to the San Siro crowd after his last game of the season, expressing gratitude for the support and love he received during his time with the club.
Throughout his illustrious career, Ibrahimovic scored a remarkable 511 goals for clubs such as Paris St-Germain, Manchester United, and both AC and Inter Milan, winning league titles in four different countries. Despite numerous accolades, including 34 trophies and being nominated for the Ballon d'Or 11 times, the Champions League title remained elusive for Ibrahimovic.
