Military engineers carry out daily demining of road sections

Servicemen of the engineering units of the Central Military District daily carry out demining of sections of roads and terrain from explosive objects in the zone of the special military operation. Sappers make passes in the minefields left by the enemy in the liberated territories, clear the most involved areas of the terrain from various explosive objects, including anti-tank and anti-personnel mines, as well as unexploded shells and ammunition.

If a dangerous object is found, the military personnel assess the situation, decide on the extraction of a dangerous object and its neutralization. If it is impossible to extract an explosive object, sappers destroy it on the spot using an overhead charge.
