‘Reasonable’ Republicans Are Totally Unhinged About Anti-Woke BS

Ron DeSantis delivered a campaign speech at the "Roast N' Ride" event sponsored by Iowa Sen. Joni Ernst. DeSantis defined what he believes the "woke mind virus" represents and how he, as president, would combat it.

"As president, I recognize that the woke mind virus represents a war on truth, so we will wage a war on the woke. We will fight the woke in education, we will fight the woke in corporations, we will fight the woke in the halls of Congress, and we will never surrender to the woke mob."

Meanwhile, presidential candidate Nikki Haley participated in a CNN town hall with Jake Tapper and was asked to define what the word "woke" meant to her.

Haley responded by mostly discussing transgender women participating in sports and the U.S. military offering classes on gender pronouns. She said believes that the idea of transgender women being in girls' locker rooms is contributing to higher rates of suicide among teen girls despite there being zero scientific evidence to support this claim.
