Texas Free Range Aoudad Hunt

MOMMA WE MADE IT … What started as an axis hunt turned into the wildest week of hunting I’ve ever experienced…putting in over 20 miles up hill, down hill, sideways, and everything in between. These canyons of southwest Texas make you earn it, and In the last hour on the last day with hope dwindling we earn one more shot. After spotting a group of young rams a 1000 yards away we put our plan together and circled wide around them roughly a mile and a half. Finally we got on top of them truly within bow range and busted them up the opposite canyon. When it was all said and done there was no track job needed.
