Prepare the kalis: To create the flare or kalis in the plazzo, you'll need to cut triangular-shaped pieces from the remaining fabric. The number of kalis you cut will depend on how much flare you want. Start by cutting one triangular piece with the base equal to the width of the rectangular fabric you cut in step 3. The height of the triangle will determine the flare. Repeat this step to cut more triangular pieces, making each subsequent piece slightly wider at the base.
