Making a Pole Spear for Shooting Fishes

After doing a fair amount of spear fishing I've decided that I don't really like the speargun style. It's complicated, lots of parts that can break, cable that can tangle, etc. The Hawaiian sling style which is kinda like a sling shot is the style I've used most. It's nice and simple, and I know how to use it. I wanted to try the pole spear style because once you load it you can operate it with one hand. It's also really simple. Basically just a stick and a rubber band. I'm excited to test it out. :-)
