Could time travellers be from PAST pre-human civilisations?

In the Dr Who episode, a #reptilian species hibernating beneath the earth’s crust, is awakened to find a bunch of ape descendants (rude) had taken over THEIR planet, and they’re not happy about it. 😅

After watching the episode I began to wonder about time travel and what we call #aliens. What if they’re not from the future or another planet, but from earth’s past. 🙃
