Dr. Hinshaw is a Distinguished Professor of Psychology at UC Berkeley and a Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at UC San Francisco. He is also the author of Another Kind of Madness: A Journey Through the Stigma and Hope of Mental Illness, a memoir that seeks to put an end to the disgracing of mental illness.
