"Spider-Man: New Home" is an upcoming superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man. The movie is expected to be co-produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios, with distribution by Sony Pictures Releasing.

However, it should be noted that the development of this film has not been officially confirmed. Film producer Amy Pascal, who initially announced plans for a new Spider-Man trilogy with Tom Holland in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), has since clarified her statement. In November 2021, while promoting "Spider-Man: No Way Home," Pascal surprised fans by revealing that Sony would continue their partnership with Marvel Studios for future Spider-Man films. This generated excitement among fans, but Pascal's recent comments suggest that she may be retracting or revising her previous announcement.

After the disappointment of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," Sony was initially planning a third installment in their separate Spider-Man franchise. However, in 2015, Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige convinced Sony to collaborate and share the character with the MCU. This led to the introduction of Tom Holland as Spider-Man, first appearing in "Captain America: Civil War" in 2016. Holland has since portrayed Spider-Man in four more films, including two standalone adventures, "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and "Spider-Man: Far From Home," as well as "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Avengers: Endgame."
